🆕 Meet ORGÀNIC, the new brown container that arrives in Elche!!
🟢🟤From the City Council of Elche – Ajuntament d’Elx and UTE Elche we launch a new campaign
to publicize among the residents of the municipality the new collection service for the organic fraction, which is going to be implemented in Elche progressively to achieve a greener and more sustainable city.
➡️What waste goes to the brown container? 🍎🍇🍆🥑🍗🐟🌿Remains of food, fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, coffee grounds and infusions, small gardening remains, kitchen paper and dirty napkins….🌴🌍♻️In short, everything that can become compost and thus feed our parks and palm trees and contribute from Elche with the environment and the circular economy.
📍 The presentation of the campaign took place this morning at Plaça de Crevillent, where an information tent has been set up that will tour the different neighborhoods and districts.
✅ Precisely El Pla is one of the areas that will first have this type of container starting in March. A total of 1️⃣4️⃣0️⃣ will be installed in this neighborhood. The act was attended by the Councilor for Cleaning, Héctor Díez Pérez, the manager of UTE Elche, Alberto Bleda, and the head of service, José L. Orellana.
