In the city of Elche we have a multitude of gray containers for you to deposit waste that cannot be recycled. This is what we call the remainder fraction. The deposit of waste must be done between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to avoid inconvenience to citizens.
The waste collected within the rest fraction is transferred to our plant in the Vallongas area where, through various treatments, it is recycled as far as possible, separating those materials that can be recycled and that should have been deposited in the collection containers. selectively, also obtaining compost from the organic matter present in these residues.
REMEMBER:
- It’s not all garbage. Help recycle. Deposit each waste in its container.
- Don’t park in front of dumpsters. An improperly parked vehicle prevents garbage collection and that harms us all.
- Take out the garbage in closed bags and only between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
